| Your situation | Start with |
|---|---|
| High-pressure hydraulic systems — pumps, cylinders, power packs | Flange SAE J518 / ISO 6162 — Code 61 (3000 psi) or Code 62 (6000 psi) |
| Marine and shipyard piping built to JIS standards | Square flange JIS B2291 / F7806 — 210K · 280K · 350K |
| Servicing a line in place, without rotating the pipe | Split flange — cut (two halves) or uncut (one piece) |
| Blanking a port for commissioning or pressure testing | SAE blind flange — full rating, and it comes off again whenever you need it |
A flange is bolted up with a gasket or an O-ring between the two faces to make a joint that holds. We stock SAE J518 flanges (3000 & 6000 psi), square flanges for shipyard work, split flanges and blind flanges — in carbon steel and SS316, with the bolts and seals to suit, in our regional warehouses in Singapore and Malaysia. Out of the warehouse within 24 hours; EN 10204 3.1 material certificates available on request.
Flange SAE J518 / ISO 6162 uses a rectangular 4-bolt pattern with an axial O-ring — the hydraulic world’s standard for pumps, motors and cylinders. Square flange JIS B2291 / F7806 uses a square 4-bolt pattern (pitch B) and is the usual choice in marine and shipyard piping. The two do not interchange.
Measure the bolt-hole centres. On an SAE flange the long side dimension gives you the size and the code at once; on a square flange the square pitch B gives the size and the series. There is a size table on every product page — or send a photograph on WhatsApp ★ Google reviews ▶ YouTube channel.
