The Class 150 fittings we stock come in one material only: stainless SS316, ASTM A351 CF8M — the molybdenum in it is what gives the chloride resistance, which is why it is the one that goes onto seawater and treated-water lines. Camlocks come in three bodies, and that choice sets the temperature limit:

The 250 PSI figure holds in the middle of the range only. At 4″ every material drops to 100 PSI — so tell us the working pressure of your line, not just the size. The per-type detail is on the camlock page.

The Class 150 fittings we stock are stainless SS316 — ASTM A351 CF8M only. Camlocks come in three bodies: SS316, aluminium ZLD104 and brass HPB57-3, with NBR, EPDM, Viton or PTFE seals.
Camlocks are rated up to 250 PSI, but that figure holds across 3/4″–2″. At 1/2″ it drops to 150 PSI, at 3″ to 200 PSI (SS316) or 125 PSI (brass/aluminium), and at 4″ every material drops to 100 PSI. Tell us the working pressure of your line, not just the size.
Both are tapered, but the flank angles differ: NPT 60°, BSPT 55°. The two cannot be mixed in one joint. Tell us the thread standard your line runs on; both seal with PTFE tape on the male thread.
The body and the seal decide it. Body: SS316 to 500 °F with no derating, brass to 450 °F (derates from 300 °F), aluminium to 250 °F (derates from 250 °F). Seals: NBR −50…+120 °C, EPDM −40…+145 °C (not for oil), Viton −20…+200 °C, PTFE −25…+100 °C.
